A Spell For Not Forgetting
One-of-a-kind handmade vest garment, crafted from a mixture of cottons. An old floral bedsheet for nostalgia, and of course the floral print: sourced new from the lovely ladies at Seeley Lake's quilting shop. The blue ribbons are secondhand. I printed the fabrics with my big spring bear, emerging from- and later, returning to- its home of winter sleep. Turquoise is thought to be a color for clarity of mind- For me, it represents the icy waters here in the mountains that do wipe the slate clean if you choose to jump in.
This garment was slowly and sustainably designed and made by Sydney Boveng in 2024.
Size: Extra Small to Medium. Please refer to the following measurements and decide if the garment will fit you the way you'd like it to. The design is made for variable sizing- on an XS it will be boxy, and on a Medium it will be more fitted or best worn open/untied/tied loosely. This item does not have darts and is designed to be more of a boxy fit- Please see my other vests for a more fitted, corset style waistcoat <3
Measurements:
16" from shoulder seam down to hem
18.5" pit to pit, left untied/open and laid flat
16" pit to pit, tied fully closed and laid flat
